Activated carbon 8 x 16 is a high activity carbon that has been manufactured from only the highest quality coconut shell charcoal. It has been specially developed for liquid phase applications. This includes the filtration of drinking water, wastewater, and processed effluent. This grade of carbon is also used for air filtration and in the manufacture of alcoholic beverages.
Particle size range of this grade of product is between 1.19mm – 2.38mm (8-16 Mesh).
